Screening
Once we receive your application, we take the time to carefully review your profile. We’re curious to learn who you are, what motivates you, and what experience you bring to the table. Does your background match one of our open positions? Or do we see potential for a different role? If so, we’ll be happy to reach out and invite you for an initial interview.
Job interview
The next step in the application process is a personal interview with our HR representative, Eline. During this conversation, you’ll get to know HDB better and have the opportunity to explain your motivation and experience. From that moment on, Eline will be your dedicated point of contact throughout the application process.
Additional interviews
If necessary, we may schedule additional interviews. This could include a meeting with the head of the department, giving you a clearer picture of the team and the scope of the role. In some cases, a conversation with our CEO, Stijn De Backer, will follow, where you’ll explore HDB’s broader vision and your potential role within it.
Guided tour
After your conversation with Eline, we warmly invite you for a tour of HDB. During this introduction, you’ll gain a clear insight into our daily operations, meet some of your future colleagues, and get a feel for the unique atmosphere on our work floor. We’ll take you behind the scenes so you can experience firsthand how collaboration, innovation, and engagement are at the heart of everything we do.
It’s an ideal opportunity to ask questions, gather impressions, and discover whether HDB is the place where you’ll soon be working with enthusiasm and fulfillment. We believe that a strong match begins with open dialogue and a genuine introduction. We’re happy to make time for that.
Employment contract
Have all the interviews gone well? Then we’d be happy to make you a contract offer. You’ll have time to review everything carefully and ask any questions you may have. Once everything is clear, we’ll schedule a moment together to sign the contract. From that point on, you’ll officially be part of HDB.

First day
After signing the contract, everything is official and your adventure at HDB can begin. We’ll ensure a smooth start, where you’ll be welcomed by your team and guided through your new work environment. You’ll receive the necessary support and guidance so you can begin your first day with confidence. Ready to dive in!
